could a wii be used to supplement forms training?
assuming they invented lightwieght wrist and ankle mountable controllers.
and invented a wii program with the patterns of a martial art included.
say a taichi game. it has video of all the 24 yang style movements. the wii user can use the controls to monitor wrist and ankle movements to find out what he/she is doing wrong. eg not moving hand far enough in movement 4 and moving it too far in movement 5.
or perhaps the sil lim tao form from wing chun the operator could analyse their hand movements?
bear in mind this is in conjunction with attending class not a substitute.
would it be useful say in cases where a school is only open limited hours and a pupil cant always attend because of shift work or something similar? or for a worker who travels a lot and sometimes misses classes.
what are peoples thoughts? could they see it working?
i notice wii fit plus is coming soon and it has Rhythm Kung Fu listed as an event. wonder what that will be like.
absolutely not
